About Anne Clay Studio
Anne Clay Studio was born from a love for clay and the process of creating. My studio is a place where I can slow down, experiment, and turn ideas into functional ceramic objects.Working with clay gives me the space to combine precision and play.
From shaping forms on the wheel to refining details by hand, every piece is created with attention, curiosity and a respect for the material. There is always room for experimentation, because the most interesting ideas often come from exploring and trying something new.
Handmade with intention
My work often develops in series of related forms. They belong together, but no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
I work without moulds, allowing each vase, mug, bowl or lamp to develop its own character. Small differences in shape, texture and finish are not imperfections; they are what make each piece unique and give a collection its sense of connection.
Creating and sharing
Alongside my own ceramic collections, I create detailed project manuals for makers who want to bring their own ideas to life.
These manuals are based on the knowledge, techniques and design decisions developed in my studio. They are created to guide you through making functional ceramic pieces, from the first idea to the finished object.
